Laura Liuzzi was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1985. Her first book of poetry, Calcanhar ("Heel," 7Letras), was published in 2010. She published Desalinho ("Unkempt," Cosac Naify), in 2014, and Lançou Coisas, a chapbook (7Letras), came out in 2016 at the International Literary Festival of Paraty (FLIP) in 2016.
